Purple Haze

This decorative finish will be applied to walls in a local art gallery and restaurant. It is a new twist on an old favorite. I'll call it "Purple Haze". Before and after photos to follow.

Exciting week at The Faux Finish School

I am extremely proud to have spent last week in Louisville, Kentucky at Martin Alan Hirsch's Decorative Finishes Studio. I took a course of "The Art and Business of Faux Finishing". The school is beautiful and is an artwork in itself but the people who run the school are just as beautiful. My instructor was Jackie Wiggins... What a wonderful lady and artisan! My classmates were great and talented and I enjoyed hanging out with them. The class size was just right, the catered lunches were tasty and the dinners out were excellent. Martin has put together a fine school.
I came back with a portfolio anyone would be proud to have. Finishes like marble, Egyptian Wall, Florentine Scroll, Tuscan plaster with faux bricks, tortoise shell and distress leather, and so many more. What a busy week. Call me to view my artwork and make sure you check out The Faux Finish School at www.fauxfinish.com.

Faux and Decorative Finishes

I would like to offer you a variety of painting services. Whether you have a simple single room repaint or you are redecorating and would like to add some decorative finishes, I would be more than happy to provide you an estimate.

Would you like to go for verticle stripes in your Master Bedroom or would you like to add some Tuscan ambiance to your dining and go all out with some rustic fresco work in your Dining Room? It's all up to you in how you would like to make impressions with your home.

Examples of my work will be found under blogs titled "Album" and at other spaces throughout this blog... explore the archives. The photo shown here is an example of what I provided in a new medical suite. This was an application of glaze in a color wash over extremely rough texture.

I strive to respond quickly to quote requests and am prompt at getting prices back to potential clients. I also treat everyone the way I would like to be treated. If you are in the Clarksville/Montgomery County, Tennessee area or in nearby surrounding counties, call me. Let me know how I can be of service to you.
