Exciting week at The Faux Finish School

I am extremely proud to have spent last week in Louisville, Kentucky at Martin Alan Hirsch's Decorative Finishes Studio. I took a course of "The Art and Business of Faux Finishing". The school is beautiful and is an artwork in itself but the people who run the school are just as beautiful. My instructor was Jackie Wiggins... What a wonderful lady and artisan! My classmates were great and talented and I enjoyed hanging out with them. The class size was just right, the catered lunches were tasty and the dinners out were excellent. Martin has put together a fine school.
I came back with a portfolio anyone would be proud to have. Finishes like marble, Egyptian Wall, Florentine Scroll, Tuscan plaster with faux bricks, tortoise shell and distress leather, and so many more. What a busy week. Call me to view my artwork and make sure you check out The Faux Finish School at www.fauxfinish.com.
